Nature Scavenger Hunt

This week's Pray and Play Date was held at a local park. We played on the playground, gathered for prayer, and then set out on a nature scavenger hunt. I found a great resource for this at http://www.toppartyideas.com/docs/ScavengerHunt_NatureHike.pdf . It's a list of nature items with corresponding pictures. (Perfect for pre-readers!) The children really enjoyed looking for the items and it did not require collecting anything or disturbing nature in any way. We simply checked the items off the list as we spotted them. We thanked God for his amazing creation and had a wonderful time together.
