Happy Monday!

We are working hard and learning lots! How do you like this look? (Glasses courtesy of Pappy and Mary... who are here teaching us about simple machines this week!)

Here's a peek at some things we've been working on in our homeschool in the past few weeks ---

Adam is fascinated with "googols." He loves to write this huge number with 100 0's.

Ray's handwriting is so great! He'll be learning cursive soon!

We went on an "r-controlled vowels" scavenger hunt
We're working on a Tomie dePaola author study...
especially loving the Strega Nona books!

New for us this year --- Weekly Reader!
Last Friday we attended this year's first session of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
This is where our homeschool adventure really began.
This is our fourth year with this awesome program!
We've been praying the Rosary each night this month.
We celebrated "Our Lady of the Rosary" yesterday by making a Rosary cake!
 Have a great week!
