Mud Magnet

Three days.

Twelve outfits.

Five baths.

So much fun!

Adam is all boy and he LOVES to play in the mud!

I've stopped fighting it for now.

But I am praying for a drought.

That's my boy!! Katie who would have thought this day would ever come? Remember when we first took Ray out to lunch at Steak N Shake? You not only brought wash cloths to clean him up but you brought an extra outfit! You didn't want him to have any spots on his clothes when we left:)
Boy, have you grown as well as the boys!

Seeing Christ in the Mirror

"Gaze upon that mirror each day... and continually study your face within it, that you may adorn yourself within and without with beautiful robes, covered... with the flowers and garments of all the virtues. Indeed, blessed poverty, holy humility, and inexpressible charity are reflected in that mirror, as, with the grace of God, you can contemplate them throughout the entire mirror" (Saint Clare - Letter 4 to Agnes, 15-18). The mirror of which she spoke was the face of Christ. But if we cannot discern that face in our own how can we hope to discern it in others?

Loving God, our Creator and Redeemer, you have called us into your own wonderful light. You have granted us the grace to gaze daily on your glory with faces unveiled. May we continue each day, with our faces unveiled, reflect like mirrors Your undying brightness, and come to grow brighter and brighter as we are turned into the image that we reflect. Let us be the light shining in the darkness radiating to the whole world the light of the knowledge of God's glory.
