Although some Catholic families choose not to have their children read
Harry Potter, we love the stories and the rich imagery of good versus evil and we introduced them to the boys this year. They absolutely love the magical world of Hogwarts and my Dad and Mary have gotten into it as well. They decided to plan a giant surprise for the boys and take them to the Harry Potter World at Universal Studios at the end of their Myrtle Beach trip this August. We flew down and joined them for a fantastic, fun weekend! Universal has made the world of Harry Potter really come to life!
My dad has always been a big fan of the Blues Brothers.... and we loved being part of this show ---
The butter beer was a big hit!
We really enjoyed staying at Cabana Bay... a retro-themed Universal resort.
