Back to School 2015

We've had some awesome travels and adventures over the past few months, but we have managed to also kick off our school year. This is our seventh year of homeschooling! Ray is in fifth grade and Adam is in fourth grade. Here are some pictures from our first official day of the new school year:

This year we are continuing with most of our same core curriculum from Seton Catholic Homeschool. We are also participating in a new program called Catholic Schoolhouse. We spend one day a week studying with about 15 other families at a nearby Church. We really enjoy it! Each time we go, we do an art project, a science experiment, and many fun activities that help us learn the material in various subject areas. A main part of the study is a history timeline, focusing this year on Ancient History. Then we work on the material at home throughout the week. You can learn more about Catholic Schoolhouse at http://www.catholicschoolhouse.com/. We also participate in a co-op on another morning each week, an Ohio study once a month, our monthly boys book club, Giorgio Juniors social club, karate (Adam), church choir (Ray), and Cub Scouts. We are busy, happy learners!

Please pray for us and for our homeschool!
