Polar Bear Encounter

Today is an absolutely gorgeous day here in Central Ohio.... sunny and breezy with a high temperature of about 73 degrees. So, after our schoolwork this morning we decided to head to the Columbus Zoo. Today was opening day for the new polar bear exhibit. We had a really spectacular afternoon. The exhibit is AWESOME.... very well-organized. It allows for big crowds to see the polar bears and other related displays easily. The new exhibit area even has it's own polar-themed playground. I was so impressed with the boys' behavior. We had a great time exploring for more than three hours. Today I'm loving being a homeschool mom!
